Clementine Is My Favourite

I think Clementine may be my favourite CTMH paper collection this fall. I love the combination of the blues, oranges, and yellows together.

 

This layout was done for the Ella Publishing Take 12 Challenge for september. I chose to take a picture every hour for 12 hours. I missed a few in the afternoon but how many pictures of me sitting at my desk is really necessary!

 

This layout was also done for a challenge at BPC.  I had to scrapbook something good that happened that week. It was a nice change to scrapbook the present rather than always going back to the past.

Playing with La Belle Vie

As soon as I saw this paper collection I knew it would be perfect with these pictures of Hilary.

 

I have been waiting to scrapbook this gorgeous picture of Hilary for over two years now. This amazing picture was taken by my extremely talented photographer friend, Rhonda McMaster.

The Perfect Collection with Shimelle Laine

Earlier this summer I purchased a stand alone video class by Shimelle Laine that she taught at True Scrap 3.

It is called The Perfect Collection: Using Your Favorite Collection Pack to the Very Last Scrap. She taught me how to take a paper collection and make beautiful, meaningful pages with almost every sheet of it. Did I mention I got about 16 pages done in about a week???

 

I chose a stack of summer paper from Michaels because it was bright and fun and I just felt like scrapping alot of old summer photos and stories. Here are my completed but naked layouts:

Ella Publishing Spring Training

This year I decided to participate in Ella Publishing's Spring Training for the next two weeks. I am going to be posting my progress here everyday in the hopes of winning some cool prizes at the end.

The first day of training was ORGANIZATION! A subject we can all use some help with. Our task was to choose one item that we wanted to organize better. I chose my bulging sticker collection. I am getting rid of about half the stash (some will go to the kids and the rest will be on the free table at the next crop). Here is the picture of my "keep" pile.

The next task will be to sort this pile into some sort of order during which time I will probably get rid of more. I love purging!
