LOAD23

This layout was created a few years ago with a special CTMH paper pack only available for a short time. It has been sitting in a binder waiting for the perfect pictures to put on it. For those of you who are skeptical that you can’t make a layout without having the pictures first – here you go! I don’t think you would have ever known that I made the layout years before I had these pictures if I didn’t tell you.

LOAD 24

This layout is going in my Disney album. I used the CTMH Surf’s Up paper line for this story about Hilary being transformed into a mermaid. The only product not CTMH is a Theresa Collins circle, American Craft Thickers and the digital stamp cameras.

Another Disney album layout. I used a 4x6 CTMH flip flap shown open in next picture.

Today I got to play with my brand new Heidi Swapp paper from Michaels.

LOAD31

This another layout for my Disney album. I used the CTMH Surf’s Up paper line again but this time I used it in Project Life pocket pages. I love how this turned out. I will be adding a flip flap insert to the page so I can include the brochure and some journaling about the day.

That’s it! I can’t believe I did all 31! Thanks for getting this far in the post and looking at my layouts, I really appreciate your interest.

LOAD Catch Up!

LOAD 8

Today I used a sketch from a new challenge site I found called 2 Broke Girls Challenges. The paper used was a combination of Echo Park Dots and Stripes and a little bit of CTMH Dream Pop. The "enjoy" title is Heidi Swapp purchased from Michaels.

A very simple layout today using CTMH paper line Victory.

LOAD 10

Today I made the left side of a 2 page layout for Hilary's school album. To make the school albums easier to complete I make the exact same layout for every year only changing the paper. The left side is built on an upside down CTMH True Fit Folio so I can put a lot more pictures and interactive stuff on the inside. I was totally inspired by Heidi Swapp and her Memory Files. This gorgeous paper I used is CTMH Lucy. I cut the title out on my Cricut with the CTMH Artiste cartridge.

This is the right side of the layout I started yesterday. On this page I used a Heidi Swapp sticker word and a Project Life Childhood edition journaling card.

A very simple layout because I think the picture speaks volumes. CTMH Dream Pop paper used here along with an Ali Edwards stamp. The layout design is Shimelle Laine once again.

LOAD 13

This layout was made to accompany a layout I made in February about the birth of my nephew in Vancouver. I used CTMH Chantilly paper, kraft borders, burlap ribbon, outdoor denium chevron ribbon and the title is an Ali Edwards digital printable from Designer Digitals.

Stay tuned for more!

LOAD 513 Days 2 through 5

Today I am playing catch up on posting my LOAD layouts. I made a few extra this weekend because I was playing along with International Scrapbooking Day challenges over at Big Picture Classes.

LOAD 2

Once again I used the new CTMH Dream Pop paper line only available in May. I really love the this paper and am having a lot of fun playing with it. This layout design came right from CTMH as part of the kit and I followed it pretty closely.

I also tried my hand at some embroidery that I saw Amy Tan do in her Signature Series idea book. I love the way it turned out and plan on doing this a lot more.

LOAD 513

Today is the first day of LOAD 513!!

In preparation for my 31 days of scrapping I created a bunch of "naked" layouts so all I will have to do is choose photos to put on them each day based on the prompt given to me by Lain. I created most of these layouts using Shimelle Laine's Perfect Collection class, some from her class The Hitchhiker's Guide to Scrapbooking and two created by CTMH artists. To make these layouts I used the new Dream Pop paper line from Close To My Heart that is only available for the month of May with a qualifying purchase.

13 single and double page naked layouts made from a single paper pack with a few sheets of paper left over

naked layout #1 using a sketch by Shimelle

All I added to the naked layout was a photo, a few paper strips tucked underneath, a title sticker and a heart for embellishment. That adorable "love" sticker is from Heidi Swapp's new line at Michaels that I just bought last week! The heart I used is a simple chipboard heart I have had in my stash for years but I covered it with the new paper so it would match perfectly.

Stay tuned for more layouts!
