Here is my take on the sketch:

For this layout I used a variety of papers including Maggie Holmes, Amy Tangerine and DCWV (Michaels). I cut out the cute circle on my new CTMH Art Booking cartridge. The grey letter stickers are from American Crafts.

September Sketch A Thon

  Welcome to the Spice & Sugar Sketch A Thon!  If you watch 2 Broke Girls you know the Spice & Sugar theme came from the "It's Not Pretty Enough" episode! Watch the clip here.

You will notice that our sketches are all black and white and fairly simple, so your mission is to add embellies and make them pretty! 

You will have the entire month of September to complete the sketch a thon, each design team member will be offering a small prize draw for completing their sketch, and 2 Broke Girls Scraps will offer a grand prize at the end of the month! Every sketch you complete will give you an entry for the grand prize. 

Make sure to become a follower of each design team members’ blog while you are there! 

Don't forget we will also have our regular sketches during the month of September as well!

Sarita Workshop

 

This is probably my favourite non-holiday paper line in the new Fall/Winter 2013 CTMH Idea Book.

Join me on Thursday, August 29 at 7pm where we will make this layout along with at least 2 others, one of which will be using pocket pages that will be supplied as part of your kit.

The workshop kit contains everything you see above but for my class the kit will also contain 2 pocket pages, journaling cards and instructions for the other layouts. You can still order the kit even if you can’t attend the workshop in person.
