I want my kids to know how much I love them; I want to tell our stories; I want to remember the good times and some of the bad. I want to see where we were so I can appreciate how far we have come. I want to express my sincere and deep appreciation for the people I love - and I can do this with my scrapbooks. ~ Wendy Smedley; The Organized and Inspired Scrapbooker

My Christmas Manifesto
This is day one of my December Daily/Journal Your Christmas scrapbook album. I plan on doing some of my journalling here to make sure I get it all down. Today I am writing about why I chose to scrapbook our December. I love the Christmas season. Pretty much everything about it. I love planning and shopping and visiting and being busy and buying gifts that people will love. I love making gifts and cards. I have decided to do this project again this year because I really enjoyed doing it last year and I love showing it to people. I also LOVE that I was able to scrapbook a whole month of activites that I probably would not have gotten around to. My goal this year is to record more little details about our everyday lives too and to write more. I have already completed my first page! Let's see what tomorrow will bring.
